Illustrative read — the figures are teaching numbers showing how PathProven™ would have read this deal, not an actual Verdict™ score.
Zilingo built a B2B fashion supply-chain platform out of Singapore, raised heavily, and grew fast across the region. In 2022 it unravelled — the CEO was suspended amid a dispute over accounting and governance, and the company was ultimately wound down.
The case for
A genuine wedge — digitising a fragmented apparel supply chain — and real regional traction. The growth chart was loud, and for a while it was the whole conversation.
The case against — the decider
TRUST. The numbers couldn’t be verified at source, and governance hadn’t scaled with the story. Unverified revenue is a liability wearing a growth chart. This is the Theranos lesson in a Southeast Asian, B2B register: the failure mode isn’t a bad idea, it’s an unaudited one.
The read is roughly 25 for. Loud growth on silent governance is not a strong deal.
On the deal in front of you
PathProven™ verifies revenue at source, before it becomes someone’s liability. A growth chart is a claim; verification is what turns it into evidence.
That is what PitchScore™ and the ODDS Memo™ hand an investor on a live deal: the case for, the case against, and the dimension that decides it — before the outcome is known. These are reads, not probabilities. See the coin on your deal →
